Went to western beef on bay street to get specific sale items was told they made I print era!?!

Western beef on bay street is turning into a really frustrating place to shop. Came in for some items that was on sale to be told by a manager( DAWN ) we can't honor the price in the flyer because it was I misprint! FALSE ADVERTISING AT ITS BEST !

Overcharge

Went to Morris Avenue store. Bought 1 pack of hamburgers which was 2 for $7 thinking I would pay $3.50. When I got home and checked receipt, saw that I was robbed. Cashier charged me $14. NEVER shopping there again.

SERIOUS communication problems

I was at the store in West Hempstead yesterday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. i tried to play mega million and was told the lotto machine was shut down. When I got home at 5p.m. I realized my 1gallon bottle of vinegar was missing. I called the store with no answer until 10 p.m. Tis morning 7/28 I started calling at 10 am.NO answer. Then I tried to call their corporate Office. No answer. Opted for the operator, no answer, personnel, no answer, customer service, no answer, job verification (I WAS desparete), no answer. i cnnot locate how to sendthem an email regarding this either.This is not the way to run a business.

Price gouging

I notice my bill was 2 to 3 dollars more than expected, cashier stated that was the price the register is ringing up on one particular item. Listed on the shelf $1.20 cheaper. I asked to speak to the manager, she simply stated whatever the register is coming up with is the price, I spoke to the head manager, he listened to my complaint and honored the shelf price.

Shopped at Western Beef for over 15yrs but enough is enough with the disrespect... Hope the whole chain of Western Beefs get shut down.... Fine Fare N Western Beef have the worst customer service...... Not spending a dime of my money with them anymore n spreading the word of their poor service as well.....

HONEST PEOPLE STILL EXIST

I HAVE SHOPPED AT WESTERN BEEF FOR DECADES LOVE THE STORE. THIS MORNING WHILE EXHAUSTED FORGOT MY WALLET WITH EVERYTHING THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLACE DURING COVID IN THE CART.THANK GOD AN HONEST STORE SECURITY MAN FOUND IT AND I HAVE IT BACK WITH EVERYTHING IN IT. Denied service at m on a Saturday, I was having a gathering and needed few pounds of cold cuts

To whom it may concern On Saturday August 16,2020 I entered Western Beef on west 16 street NYC, upon doing so I went straight to the cold cut department &;;;;;;;;;; stood on line. There was one individual which was being tended to, a lady which was still telling the deli worker, which was one of two, the rest of her order. So one of the workers told the other to tell me the deli was closed. I have been going to western beef for over 30 years or more when western beef opened on 14 street nyc. One worker really nasty told me dont you see the sign were closed, I have never ever seen a sign posted that the deli is closed, that was a first, I asked her why she didnt tell me as soon as they saw me standing there, and she then told me that they had already cleaned the slicer. That was impossible due to the fact that I was standing there as she was taking the ladies order. I also questioned them as to why the deli was closed at 6 pm turning away customers when the deli is suppose to e opened till 8 pm. They just answered me once again really nasty that they were closed. So I then went to the front and asked for the manager on duty, he was as nasty as your deli workers. Informing me that store was short of staff & he had no one to work the deli & that it was time for the two deli workers to punch out & go home. I live 50 ft from your store & am there every single day. One of your workers Victor knows me very well, he is an excellent worker which I have come to love dearly, very respectful & attentive to anyone & everyone. I should not have been treated in the manner those three workers treated me. The girls in the deli spoke to me in such a negative way. They were just desperate to leave & didnt care about anything or anyone. As I was finished getting the rest of my groceries I was just so upset in the fashion I was treated. Living here almost 60 years as I speak with other patrons who shop at your store, they inform me that they have had issues with them as well. If these are the kind of employees you hire to represent your store, you will have a huge decline in customers as many already stopped entering your store. You need to educate these workers upon hiring them, there is no reason why someone should enter your store and be treated in such a negative way. By the way there were many other customers after me turned away as well. Again the two deli girls just kept turning the customers away repeating that they were closed. I dont wish for them to lose their jobs, but they need to be educated and to be respectful of anyone who approaches their section as for the manager as well. I had a small gathering and was in need of a few pounds of cold cuts and had to go all the way to the supermarket on 29 street and ninth ave . This should not have happened. I am disabled and should not have had to go out of my way due to your workers acting in the matter in which they did. I thank you for your Time & attention, stay well & stay safe. Main entrance on Washington closed before 9.30 pm

This is the third consecutive week in which the entrance at your supermarket located at 44 Empire Boulevard gates were closed before 9.30 pm. This is the third time I am making this complaint about this store. The store closes at 10.00 pm and the gates are closed way before the closing time. I complained to the manager about it and the same thing happens over and over again. It is a very long walk to get to the entrance at Empire Boulevard, there are the elderly the handicapped plus other customers instead of making it easy to get to the entrance they make it very difficult. Why is the store open, is it not for the convenience of the customers? It seems like it is the opposite. They act like they are doing you a favor although it should be the opposite. I spoke many times to the Hispanic manager she never gives a good answer, I feel like I am totally ignored. The the items on the outside of the store the gates are closed even earlier. I have being going to this store every Saturday since its inception I feel something should be done about management. I had to call and complained when this very store closed their doors at 9.30 pm. There used to be the opening and closing time at the entrance that sign was taken down I asked that it should be posted it has not. Employees do not have name tags, if I am dissatisfied with an employee I do not have a name, Why employees do not have name tags? I am tired of the discourtesy please upgrade conditions and make sure the gates are closed at the designated time. Thank you. There are problems which has to be worked on.Thank you. I have called yhis dump, and left several messages regarding the abysmal customer service at the 16th St store in Manhattan, but have never received not one response. This morning I had the worst experience, one of many at this store. The employee are inept, rude, and undesireble racist. This morning: A customer ahead of me had misunderstood, or wasn't aware of that there were no delivery being made at the time. The cashier was rude to him, showing no empathy, simply repeating there was no delivery. Never apologizing for the error, or even an offer to talk to the supervisor as a way to de-escalate. Nothing! As a result the customer became angry and left, not paying for the groceries at all. Can't say I blame him. The cashier's attitude, as most of the employees at this store was rude, and have little regard for the fact that without the customers they wouldn't have the jobs, the ones they constantly whine about. What happened to the customer being right? God knows the employees at this store refuse to believe it. There's never a greeting, never even an acknowledgement of the human in front of them. But a male employee became incensed over the groceries being left, and literally ran out of the store to chase/hunt the customer down. Leaving the groceries, that I had to back into the cart, as the aggressive employee ran out after the the gentleman. What was his intention? Beat the customer? The aggressive employee returned muttering under his breath, ultimately saying in Spanish: "Bet the guy was black..." WHAT!?!? He said this in front of me...an Afro-Caribbean, a black Latino. The aggressive employee was surprised that this black Latino man responded to his abhorrent racist remark. He said that he wasn't talking to me: "my nigger"... I am no one's *** I agree, he wasn't talking to me, yet I still had to hear the insulting racist remark. I was highly offended. He was totally obnoxious, and disrespectful, and should be fired immediately! I later heard from another customer, that this same employee had an altercation with another customer at the deli department. Why is this guy still working there? The supervisor of the store did little to reprimand the unworthy employee, or to de-escalate the situation, he instead said that I shouldn't be angry at him because he had nothing to do with what happened. The supervisor refused to give me his full name. Only his first name, which I can't remember, and don't want to. I simply want a response...an apology would be appropriate. If I hear nothing from Western Beef about the behavior at their stores, I promise I will take further steps to file a complaint until I get an apology. At this point I will gladly go to any other supermarket, even if I have to walk several blocks out of my way, and would be paying more, but I would do that just to keep my hard earned dollars from Western Beef. Why would I pay to be disrespected, and insulted? Do something about your employees!
